Our Friends over at The GARDENS have launched their 2023 Training Program.
They are now accepting applications for the 7-week POD MASTERS Training Program.
This hands-on program aims to develop social connections and engagement within the community and to enable community members to work together in growing their own food.
Benefits of Completing the POD MASTERS Training Program:
- All participants who complete this program will receive $200 food cards
- Certificate of completion from Humber College and LAMP CHC
- Opportunity to apply for paying jobs as Community POD Leaders within South and Central Etobicoke

In addition to the Pod Master program, we will also be recruiting volunteers for the “Pod Squads” in April, who will help to care for the South Etobicoke neighbourhood Pods throughout the Spring and Summer.
